Piers Corbyn wins Xmas UK snow bets despite all other forecasters!

25th-31st Dec WeatherAction World extreme events forecasts confirmed in UK, NW Europe & NE /E USA - despite all other forecasters.

Piers on main TV stations USA but ignored by UK's BBC & ITV!

Snow & Ice hit the UK - despite the forecasts of the Met Office and other standard meteorologists until a few days ahead for a mild UK Xmas!

December 25th and nights before and after were some of the coldest ever recorded in the UK especially in Shropshire in the West Midlands where Piers Corbyn started his meteorological pursuits as a teenager and he made sizeable net winnings on the snow on Xmas day PUBLIC* bets he placed in November with William Hill.

  • *Piers is banned from weather account betting with William Hill following years of winning but can enter public bets and won money on all the UK stations which recorded snow. These were Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, York & Lincoln.

Piers said: "We predicted snow was most likely in Scotland and East parts of England and that is where it came. Newcastle made me the most cash. Punters who stuck to our detailed advice are well ahead.

We had expected more snow on Xmas day itself but this was the starting edge of our 25th-27th heavy snow / blizzard forecast period - predicted in November - for Britain & NW Europe. More is coming for UK and Europe is being very hard hit.

The simultaneous massive winter blizzard we predicted 2 weeks ahead for New York & NE/E USA is a spot-on success again in the face of all other forecasters who didn’t expect it until 24 hours ahead - http://bit.ly/f7C8tx , http://tgr.ph/fMD3Rq

"I am especially pleased that Shropshire and indeed Newport Shropshire where I  lived was so cold because my former superb Physics teacher – Keith Reynolds - is retired near there and still measuring weather!  The River Severn by the famous Iron bridge is frozen over and looks fantastic -  http://bit.ly/eTJRby "

"Standard forecasters don't know what is hitting them this winter.  What is happening with weather extremes and climate change is caused by predictable solar particle and magnetic effects - called SOLAR - CLIMATE CHANGE and is nothing to do with the fiction of man-made & CO2 driven global warming / climate change; that is failed science based on fraudulent data."

"This cruel winter in Britain & W Europe is going to go on and on and standard meteorology will fail fail and fail again and our forecasts* will warn weeks ahead of their likely errors.

"For the USA* we have not yet made detailed predictions of extreme events for the rest of winter but will soon do so for January and issue them in our Extreme Events (rest of world / not Europe) forecast via http://www.weatheraction.com/ (Purchase forecasts button).

  • WeatherAction forecasts are normally issued on a monthly basis and anyone who buys in the last week of a month gets access to the rest of that month free and to the forecast for the following month when it is issued - normally on the last day of the preceding month. All updates to any forecasts are automatically available inclusive. Britain / Ireland & Europe forecasts (and other parts of the world under some circumstances) are also available via the web or via WeatherAction Office longer ahead.

"We predicted these dangerous extreme weather events in the UK, NW Europe and USA well ahead of all standard meteorologists but have been ignored by the UK Government and BBC who are putting failed science and ideology before public welfare, safety and lives. Despite our more limited forecast for USA we have appeared recently both on ABC and Fox news and I thank them for their willingness to let the truth come out**."

I there is a Bachelor of Scientific dinlcpiises stage in Meteorology or Atmospheric Scientific dinlcpiise you will in all probability start out producing a minimum of Dollar25,000 a year. For those who have a Pga masters diploma they will often bundle you around just about Bucks30,000 per year. Nation's Weather conditions Services efforts are publicized on USAJobs. gov and you simply need to have at the very least a Bachelor of Science amount to go into, especially if you want to possibly be a forecaster. Their job is really very competitive at the same time.I do think the total amount they fork out ranges dependant on in your geographical area but that's doubtful by too much; I have no idea of.For those who be employed by the National Temperature Services for enough time you can make nearly Bucks90,000 12 months but you ought to be eager to relocate and advance.

Good afternoon Mr.Piers, I just saw your interview on FOX I was impressed with your delievery of the truth in 4 minutes very precise. I am freshman in college here in the U.S. majoring in meteorology. I have never seen scientists with your knowledge on television. Through my research on this theory of global warming I found out that CO2 is basically a myth no factual data supports that as the main cuase for the Earth's warming. I also concluded that the Sun plays a major role in the weather here on Earth. My question how does the hole in the ozone layer play a role in this extremem weather? I

AusieDan,... We didnt 'miss' anything in that sense. We are NOT doing 'Whole' forecasts for what we expect to be all (or at least 85%) of extreme events for any part of the world except for Britain/ Ireland and we are almost there with West Europe....We make it very clear there will be other events which we have not attempted to forecast especially in our RED WARNING /TOP EXTRA ACTIVITY time periods. When we make forecasts of events those will be verified 85% of the time. Events which happen which we did not attempt to forecast are 'So what'. Its like complaining that David Beckham didn't score in a match he didn't play in. What we are doing for Australia is trial stage...Interestingly the N Queensland rain was from a 'misplaced' Tropical Cyclone which we had expected fro 25/26th Dec in the South Indian Ocean rather than N Queensland. Thanks Piers

Piers - I admire your UK, European and USA forecasts and your gereral methodology, which is likely well based and certainly has a long ancestory. I suggest that you hold back on future Australian forecasts until these are better stabilised. But I would be interested to read why you missed the massive rain in eastern Australia. That rain is more devestating than the recent snow in the N. Hemisphere, but it will not be as costly as there are less people and businesses affected.

Mr. Pier, I live in California in the United States. I am VERY interested in your forecasts for my part of the world. Please let me know when they are available. I have long been a skeptic of global warming and an advocate of the effects of the sun on global and local weather patterns. Please let me know when you are forecasting weather for my location so I can purchase the forecasts. Thank You Jason

On this period 25-31st as a whole we need to wait until end but it is also worth noting there have been a lot of extreme events around the world as we expected; and THUNDER-SNOW has been a feature of blizzard events. Of the three regions we specifically predicted Britain/Europe; NE/E USA both regions where we had quite a bit to say (re detail 25-27 & 29/30) the forecasts have been very successful. For SE Queensland where we had just one statement although it was dry and warm while there was a massive TC/rain storm in N Queensland the SE did not turn into a heatwave. It appears that the storm was not 'in the right place' re another prediction for subscribers where the South Indian Ocean was where we expected a Tropical Cyclone to form 25/26th. This will be discussed further in January. We have a lot more to do about Australia which is all 'trial' stage. Piers

THANKS ALL!! for comments. Keep watching!.....Kit you should be activated now. One prob of this system (being upgraded) is if you pay under a different name from which you registered it is not immediately clear who to activate when PayPal tells us that a payment has been received......The other thing to understand for late month registration is that you now get the current month in your access box and next month will be put there and accessible on 31st/1st at no further charge.....Thanks again.....Piers

This is fascinating to me. So much so that I subscribed 30 mins ago and it will not let me in. Of course I am in a rush to be amazed. Since there is NO other working place to leave comments or ask for support, I am asking here. Why can't I login? I chose the extreme reports by the way. Thanks for any insight!

Dear Piers Good work on the forecasts as ever, allowed me to travel the length of England before the snow brought everything to a halt (also persuaded me to buy a car with AWD during the summer) Question; I'm currently subscribed to the 30-day forecasts, is it possible to upgrade to the 45-day forecasts or do I need to take up the 45-day ones separately? Regards Gareth

Great result from Piers.Forecasted the blizzards on the East coast of U.S a long time ago.The jetstream is responsible like it was for the Russian heatwave last summer and Piers forecasted to the very DAY when it would end and i bet Piers knows when the cold weather in U.K would break (not now as some meteorologists forecast). This spell of Milder weather in U.K (not so in the east) is just temporary the Cold will return in January and i bet Piers knows this cant wait for my 30 day forecast from piers
